D-8084 @ EHYB - Three years after withdrawl of the F-104 the spotters community got a final chance to photograph the stored Starfighters at Ypenburg.

D-8084 @ EHLW		 D-8066 @ EHLW - During the summer of 1982 D-8066 was based at Leeuwarden as target tow aircraft. The large dart was attached to the left pylon, where the winch was at the right.

D-8065 @ EHVK - Classic configuration of a Dutch recce Starfighter: four fuel tanks and an Orpheus recce pod.
D-8065 @ EHVK		 D-8063 @ EHLW - In 1982 this Starfighter arrived at Leeuwarden for target tow duries. The winch equipment can be seen underneath the wing.

D-6653 @ EHLW - Normally during a target towing mission the darts were winched out and dropped afterwards. This F-104 had a problem causing the dart to stick underneath the wing. Landing with the dart still attached was a rough ride!
